Climbing protection systems are used for ascending buildings, roofs, radio and high-voltage masts, chimneys or in wind turbines with permanently installed ascents (ladders). LMB safety ladders from Logaer Maschinenbau GmbH are often used, especially at very high places with limited space.
SHE-Solution has developed the new Climbtec CT-02 fall arrester especially for the LMB rail of these safety ladders. The Climbtec CT-02 offers optimal running characteristics in the LMB rail and enables an ergonomic ascent and descent in the LMB safety fixed ladders.
The user connects to the Climbtec CT-02 via the arrester loop of his safety harness and can safely perform his ascent or descent. In case of an imminent fall, e.g. due to a misstep, the CT-02 locks into the LMB rail and holds the person to be secured. In this case the fall force is reduced to less than 6kN by the integrated strap energy absorber. End stops at the entry and exit points of the LMB rail also prevent the Climbtec CT-02 from sliding out unintentionally.
The Climbtec CT-02 has been certified by independent testing institutes and is approved for current but also already installed LMB fixed ladders.
