New GWO course module: GWO First Aid

With the start of 2025, we are expanding our range of training courses in accordance with the Global Wind Organization (GWO) standards to include a further course module. In addition to our established GWO basic and refresher courses Working At Heights, Manual Handling and Fire Awareness, we will also be offering GWO First Aid basic and refresher courses from January.

In the GWO First Aid Training, participants learn how to provide first aid in the workplace, both in theory and in practice. The training focuses on the legal and medical basics, as well as practical examples from the wind energy industry.

Course contents:

2. Anatomy and physiology
   
3. Correct handling in an emergency
   
4. Life-saving immediate measures
   
5. Risks and dangers on a wind turbine
   
6. Automated external defibrillators (AED)
   
7. Safe behavior during rescue/self-protection
   
8. Training of the learning content as part of practical exercises
